

Homer Paul Fields of Farmers Branch, Texas, age 73, born in Kelso, Washington on May 29, 1939 went to be with our Heavenly Father on June 18, 2012 in Carrollton, Texas. He is survived by his loving wife Eva Jane Fields of 47 years and his sisters Patty Kennerly and Kathryn Fields. He is preceded in death by his parents Homer Fields and Helen Kennerly and his brother James Fields. Paul and Jane had three children Paula and spouse Jeff, Aaron and spouse Melody, and Jason and spouse Heide. He had seven grandchildren: Morgan, Jesse, Adam, Amanda, Ashley, Audrey and Ashtyn.
He honored his country serving in the U.S. Navy for four years which inspired his love of travel. Prior to his corporate career, he used his God-given talent of singing and performing with several Gospel music groups.
He loved his family and kept himself physically fit as an avid table tennis player who won numerous awards and was ranked 18th nationally in the Senior Olympics. His family greatly benefitted from his love of cooking and entertaining.
As a husband, Dad and Grand Pappy, Homer Paul will be greatly missed by his family.
Visitation will take place on Sunday, June 24, 2012 from 5 pm - 9 pm at Rhoton Funeral Home in Carrollton, Texas. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, June 25, 2012 at 10:30 am in the Rhoton Funeral Home Chapel with Interment to follow at 12:30 pm at Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery in Dallas, Texas.
