Jack Lovell Lawrence

Jack Lovell Lawrence of Farmers Branch, TX passed away on August 29, 2023, at the age of 92. He was born in Dayton, Ohio on September 28, 1930. Son of Guy E & Agnes Knightman Lawrence. Jack graduated as a salutatorian from Bath, NY high school. He received the following degrees from the University of Michigan BBA - 53, BSIE - 57 and BSME- 57. Member of Theta XI fraternity.

Jack served as 1st Lt. in the Koren War with the 5th Air Force, 67th squadron. He and his wife Sandra Koch met on a blind date and were married 70 plus years.

His working career was heavily involved in the power industry. Jack worked with G.E., VCON Industries, Peerlees Mfg. Co. and finished his career as Sales Engineer and part owner of Preco Turbine Services.

Jack is proceeded in death by his parents, brother Dale, daughter Martha Ann Doran, son in-law Russell Martin. He is survived by his wife Sandy, daughter Sara Jeanne, son Peter, son David and his wife Lee, son in-law Jim Doran and grandchildren Taylor, Lance, Hunter (wife Natalie) and Harrison.

Jack did many things in his lifetime. He really enjoyed his family, friends, bowling, golf at Brookhaven CC, playing cards and rooting for the University of Michigan in any sport. Jack was a member of Preston Hollow Presbyterian Church and volunteered many years at North Texas Food Pantry.

Memorial Service December 4th, 11:00am at Preston Hollow Presbyterian Church Chapel

After Memorial Service burial will be held at Dallas National Cemetery at 1:00pm
