Jerry Marie Hudler Sharp

Jerry Marie Sharp, age 84, passed away on Thursday, June 2, 2011. She was born on June 11, 1926, in Dallas, to the late Jim and Bell Hudler. Jerry owned and operated her own beauty salon for many years. She enjoyed dancing and fishing. Jerry was a wonderful mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew her. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard O. "Pete" Sharp; and six brothers and sisters. Jerry is survived by her son, Mike Sharp and his wife, Sylvia, of Sadler, TX; daughters, Judy Miller and her husband, Brad, of Frisco, TX and Jerry Lynn and her husband, Stephen Tomac of Carrollton, TX; nine grandchildren, Michelle, Shirley, Eva, Jennifer, Richard, Kathy, Gary, Mike and Paul; 15 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren; one sister and brother-in-law, Virginia & Jack Pierce of Farmers Branch, TX; and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 5, 2011 from 6-8pm in Rhoton Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, June 7, 2011 at 9am in the funeral home with burial following in DFW National Cemetery.
