Jim Hawk

Jim Hawk, 61, passed away on July 1, 2014 in Dallas, TX. He was born on July 7, 1952 in Loup City, NE. Jim graduated from Kearney State. He worked in several different service industries during his career before finding his dream job at Golden Bear Golf Center. He loved golfing, Dallas Mavs basketball and being around dogs of all kinds. He is survived by his wife Lori, son Kelly (and his mother Linda Brewer), grandson James, 2 great grandchildren, brother and sister-in-law Gary and Cathy Hawk of Denver and sister and brother-in-law Joan and Declan Flynn of Loup City, NE. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Due to Jim’s request for no formal service, memorial services to celebrate his life will be held in Coppell, TX; Wichita, KS and Loup City, NE in order to include family and friends in those locations.
