Kenneth was born in Vilonia, Arkansas on August 30, 1932, to Calvin and Ollie Boles. He graduated from Vilonia High School in 1951 and enlisted in the Army in 1953 where he served during the Korean War before being honorably discharged in 1955. In 1955 he moved to Texas. Kenneth met his lovely wife, Claudia Gordin, in 1959 and the two married in 1960; they were married for 63 years.
Kenneth worked as the lead mechanic for Dalfort Airlines for 15 years and Braniff Airlines for 25 years before eventually retiring. He enjoyed many outdoor hobbies such as hunting, gardening, and especially trail riding. He was coined the “Trail Boss” due to him always taking the lead during the trips and was his handle on the CB radios. He was known to keep his neighbors on their toes due to the multitude of different animals that would call his backyard home. Whether it be dogs, horses, or some other animal he was an animal lover to the core and his love for animals rubbed off on his children.
Kenneth is preceded in death by his son, Ken Boles Jr., parents, and one sister and brother.
Kenneth is survived by his wife, Claudia Boles, children, Kelly Boles Hensley, grandchildren, Daniel Boles, Heather Boles Hagen, and Travis Hensley, along with five great-grandchildren.
