Larry "LD" Dewayne Plunk

LD graduated from Jacksonville High School in Jacksonville, Texas in 1974, where he went on to enlist in the United States Marine Corp and attend the US Naval Academy.

He was married to Shari Davison-Plunk on May 3, 1986 after meeting two years prior at a Halloween costume party.

LD had an extensive career in IT systems management, spending the last 13 years working with Gainwell Technologies. He loved to travel, root for the Seattle Seahawks, listen to live music, and dance the night away. Above all else he loved his family and getting to spend time with them.

He is survived by his wife; Shari Plunk, children; Kameron and Jenni Moore of Melissa, TX, Karyn-Ann Atkins of Alpine, WY, Shay and Andrew Dortch of North Bend, WA, and Chace Plunk of Plano, TX, grandchildren; Kara and Kamden Moore, Kamryn Leigh Atkins, and Amelie Mae Dortch. Along with his father; H.C. (Sonny) Plunk of Jacksonville, TX and sister; Marsha Plunk of Beaumont, TX.

Funeral Services will be held at the Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery.
