

Age 68, and leaving this precious life on April 17, 2011 in Carrollton, TX. Born December 9, 1942 in Wilson, NC to Robert Kenneth Evance Sr and Dorothy Mae Baines. She was a resident of Brookhaven Nursing Center in Carrollton for 8 years, where she had a loving home and adored the friends she made. She is survived by her Brother, Rev. Robert Kenneth Evance Jr and wife, Florence of Tennessee; Brother, Richard Moody and life partner, Glenn Muszalski of Michigan; and Sister, Darlene Eisen and husband, Jay Fischer of Texas. Mona had 9 Nieces and Nephews and 21 Great Nieces and Nephews.
Anyone who knew Mona would tell you she had a heart of gold and spirit that could light up a room with happiness. With any challenge, she saw opportunity; with any sadness, she saw lessons; through any hard times, she saw forgiveness. Mona loved life and loved people. She was known for her uncanny memory and passion for country music, food, and horses. She made a huge impact on so many peoples’ lives and will always be remembered by her grace. Mona will deeply be missed.
Mona will be laid to rest in Kolb Cemetery in Spencer, OK next to her mother on Thursday April 21st at 12:30 pm.
