

Phillip Odell Williamson, age 82, of Dallas, Texas passed away on Thursday, February 10, 2022. Phillip was born March 28, 1939 to Fred and Floy Williamson in Willis Point, Texas. He was the fourth of six children.
At an early age Phillip developed a yearning for coffee with carnation milk and he named the drink "Admaration" He loved elementary school and fun summers with friends during his early age. He remembers how loving his mom was to their family but never hesitated to correct them and teach them to be good strong people. His proudest moments were spending time with his children as he watched them grow and develop into adults.
Upon completion of high school, Phillip immediately enlisted in the Army. He served in Korea, Germany and two tours in Vietnam. He retired after 21 years of service with the rank of Special Agent with the Army Criminal Investigation Unit. During his service he was awarded many medals of honor for service here and abroad.
Phillip was preceded in death by his son, Sean Williamson, and brothers David Williamson and Fred Williamson and sister Florence Asher. He is survived by his daughter Cortkne Williamson; son Phillip Williamson; grandchildren Keyshawn Robinson, De'dran Williamson, Che'la Williamson, Phoenix Taylor, and Marcel Williamson; sisters Vernon Pervis and Grace Williamson; 2 stepchildren and host of many family members and friends.
