Robert James Jaworski

He was a United States Air Force veteran, avid sailor, pilot, Sunday school teacher, and student of life. He was also a loving father, son and “Gramps”. During a nearly three decade career with IBM, Mr. Jaworski was a successful customer service representative and Field Manager retiring in the mid-90s. During his retirement, he enjoyed sailing, flying and spending time with his companion, Carolyn Dowden of Zwolle, Louisiana, as well as his four children and one grandson.

Mr. Jaworski joins his deceased wife, Mary Fain Jaworski, as well as his mother, Frances McKinney, and father, Benjamin Jaworski, in heaven but is survived by his children, Shauna Jaworski of Colleyville, Daniel H. Jaworski of Little Elm, Lara Goins of Roanoke, and Robert J. Jaworski, Jr., of Fort Worth as well as his grandson, Daniel Reagan Jaworski, also of Little Elm.

Family Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, March 29, 2010, at Rhoton Funeral Home located at 1511 S. I-35 E, Carrollton, Texas 75006. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 30, 2010, at Denton Bible Church, 2300 E. University Dr., Denton, Texas 76209. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Leukemia Lymphoma Society (http://www.leukemia.org/hm_lls) in Mr. Jaworski’s name.
