William was born on June 7, 1949 at Fort Bragg in North Carolina to William Sr. and Marian Pfeffer. He attended Culver Military Academy and graduated from Jefferson High School in Cedar Rapids in the year of 1966. He attended West Point Military Academy for one year and went on to Iowa State University where received his degrees in Institutional Management and Engineering. He traveled all throughout the United States, working on building projects before settling in Dallas, TX.
William is survived by Wife, Marlena; Step Daughter, Mihaela Plesa; Brother, John Charlie Pfeffer and Patti Pfeffer of Modesto, CA; Brother, Michael David Pfeffer and Terry Pfeffer of Bonita Springs, FL; Sister, Carol Kristan Pfeffer O'Neill of Toddville, IA; Nieces and Nephews, Matthew, Michael, Julia, Megan, Zach, Ryan, Erin, Jonathan, and Rebecca.
He is going to be missed by all of his friends and colleagues at Beck. He was very close to his golfing buddies in Dallas and all of his friends in Oklahoma especially by his neighbors Ron, Sue, Becky and Mary.
