Catherine "Cathi" M. Adams

Cathi was born August 31, 1949 in Santa Monica, California to Charles D. and Mary Virginia Adams. She graduated from San Francisco State University which lead her to her teaching career that took her to a number of places including; the Navajo Indian Reservation in Shonto, Arizona, South Lake Tahoe, CA, and settled in Carson City in the 1980’s. She was a lifelong teacher in the Carson City School District and avid volunteer with the Special Olympics. She taught Special Education at Carson High School, second and third grade at Bordewich Bray Elementary School. Cathi retired from teaching in 2013. She enjoyed gardening, camping, traveling, and spending time with her children and Chinese nieces making loving memories that will last forever.

Survivors include, her beloved daughters, Ginny-Mei and Meika, brothers Charles P. (Mary Kaye) and Michael L. (Paula) and nieces and nephews.
