Holidays are coming up and it’s a time of year your truly enjoyed. To have all of the family under one roof laughing and enjoying each other’s company was one of your favorite things. I find myself wishing for just one more day with you, or even a few moments. I’ve replayed what I would say to you over and over again. When you left I figured I love you always would suffice, but I wanna tell you what an amazing father and friend you were. Never once did you steer me in the wrong direction and even in the short amount of time you’ve been gone I find myself hearing you telling me certain things when I’m having a rough day. Missing you a bit extra today Daddy.. Sometimes life just isn’t fair. Hope you’re up there givin everyone a run for their money! Love you always ❤️❤️

I chose months ago to get a portrait tattoo of you, and I prayed for a long time that you’d still be here to see the final piece. My entire body aches for just one more day with you. So Daddy, in honor of you, I’ll carry that handsome smile of yours with me forever. Not that I ever need reminding of how warm it was, but it’s a piece of you that I can have always. I love you Daddy..

Tomorrow marks 3 weeks... 3 long and agonizing weeks. I wish I could turn back the clocks for a while. I would have spent more time with you. I used to love the evenings when you’d sit in your recliner and I could crawl up into your lap and you’d tickle me until I couldn’t take it anymore. Or how whenever I was hurt in any kind of way, you some how always made the pain go away. I wish you could come back and take this pain away... I love you so much Daddy..

It's hard to put into words what the last almost 40 years have been with you, sometimes maddening because of your stubborn streak, sometimes tears watchimng you on the birth of our children and then the laughter through all those years. Uncle Larry was the kindest, funniest, most gentle man I’ve known. He was there for me when my dad died and I am forever grateful. I will always cherish my memories of him. To my Aunt Aurelia, my cousins Shaun and Amy, my heart goes out to you! I’m so sorry for your loss! Love you!  ❤️

Though your body may have failed you, your heart never did. You were a man of very few words but when you spoke, not only did people hear you, but they listened.
