Aleatha Hale

She was born November 21, 1920. Mrs. Hale owned and operated Hales Grocery Store in Emerson for 65 years and she loved to talk to people. She was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Acworth.

She is survived by her son, Olan G. Hale and his wife, Mary Lue Hale of Emerson, her grandson, Olan T. Hale, great-grandchildren, Tiffany Adams of Cartersville, Brittany Hale of Rydal, Christopher Hale of Cartersville, great-great-grandchildren, Aaliyah Adams of Cartersville, Kiley Hale of Cartersville, Corbin Hale of Rydal, a sister, Helen Cox of Acworth and brother in law, Rev. Rex Cox of Acworth,

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 29, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Acworth with Rev. Rex Cox and Rev. Jerry McPherson officiating.

Burial will follow in Sunset Memory Gardens.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday evening from 6:00-9:00 p.m.

Pallbearers will be Cody Scoggins, Terry Scoggins, Christopher Hale, Anthony Hollis, Bill Prather and Mickey Brown.

Owen Funeral Home, 12 Collin Drive, Cartersville, Georgia is in charge of the arrangements.
