Alex Martin Ayers, age 23, unexpectedly passed away on February 5, 2021 in Cartersville, Georgia. Alex was born on December 4, 1997 to William Ayers and to the late Carol Paul in Nashville, Tennessee.
Alex may have led a life that was short lived, but he lived every moment to the fullest. His family always gave him encouragement to be the best man that he could be. In his younger years, Alex and his family lived in Wyoming for a short period of time. This is where he dabbled in acting. In 2000, they moved to Cartersville and this is where he really began his life.
Alex was attending the Trinity school and was also a cub scout. He was a spelling champion and made a great role model for others. He was baptized, attended church and held his relationship with the Lord close to his heart.
In grade school, Alex was honored with leadership awards and in his eighth grade, he went to the district spelling competition and took second place. That same year, he attended Washington D.C. to the National Leadership Convention. He thoroughly enjoyed competing.
There were other hobbies that he enjoyed as well, such as playing the drums, spending quality time with his family, having time with his friends, playing soccer, and working at Starbucks. Alex filled his time responsibly and thoroughly enjoyed being around people. He always had a joke to make everyone smile and loved helping anyone who was in need. You could say Alex had no fear. He always loved an adventure. He jumped at the opportunity to go sky diving with a friend and enjoyed every moment.
Alex was also very smart. He attended Highland College and obtained an Associate’s Degree in Science. He made the Dean’s list three times and was very proud of his accomplishments. This year, he would have graduated from Kennesaw State University with his Bachelor’s in Criminology.
Alex was a very humble and loving man. He carried these characteristics to all that he met. Everyone will forever think of him knowing that he made this world a better place.
Alex Martin Ayers is survived by his father, William Ayers; stepmother, Rosemelyn Ayers; brother, Andre Ayers; sisters, Rosejane Ayers and Anissa Ayers; grandfather, Jack Tipton; step grandmother, Remy Garcia; many extended family members and many many loving friends to cherish his memory.
