Alyssa Jade Leonard

Alyssa is preceded in death by her grandparents, Julia & Winford Harper, John and Mary Grace Leonard. She is survived by her parents, John and Angela Leonard; siblings, Stephanie Keyros, Britni & Claude Morgan, Craig Leonard, Kazzi & Colton Lemon, Kylie & Brian Baker, Rachel Leonard, Jinnia & Justice Wright; grandparent, Dolly Shepherd; a host of a nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and her fur babies, Sparkles and Chloe.

From the heart of Alyssa’s sisters:

Kylie Baker – I’ll miss you forever like the stars miss the sun in the morning skies. The mountain you carried, you were only supposed to climb. I love you the most.

Jinnia Leonard – I will forever cherish all the memories we made; you were my angel on earth, and now my angel in heaven. Her laughter echoes in our hearts and her spirit will forever dance in our memories.

Kazzi Lemon – Though you may no longer be here with us in body, your spirit will live in everything and everyone you touched. I love you more than words can say. I will always cherish the time we had together.

Stephanie Keyros – Alyssa taught us how to love without conditions and selflessly with a kind heart. She taught us to cherish every moment of life. She had a light that burned brighter than a thousand suns.

Britini Morgan – Alyssa, your laughter could light up any room and your kindness touched every soul you met. You will be greatly missed. Love you always and forever.

Rachel Leonard – My hero. “Mini-me Rachel” as mom would say when you got that attitude going. You are the reason I never give up. You give “Strength” it’s definition. Until we meet again sister, I love you forever.

A Celebration of Life Service will be conducted at 2:00 pm on Saturday, January 18, 2025 in the chapel of Owen Funeral Home with Rev. Sam Woodie, Rev. Jamie Haygood and Rev. Marlon Haney officiating. The interment will follow at Sunset Memory Gardens with Landan Jones, Josh Cavin, Grant Blalock, Justice Wright, Nick Delia, Reece Sisson serving as pallbearers and a few honorary Pallbearers. The family will receive friends on Friday, January 17, 2025 from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Owen funeral Home.
