Ann C. Dye

Ann Elizabeth Chitwood Dye, 81, of Cartersville, GA passed away at her home on August 12, 2020. Ann was born in Cartersville, GA to the late Mr. Everrett Lewis Chitwood and Mrs. Edna Simpson Chitwood on June 23, 1939.

Ann was a long time member of Tabernacle Baptist Church in Cartersville. She was also a very talented crafter. She enjoyed sewing and ceramics. Ann was also an amazing cook. The greatest joy in her life was being Nana to her two grandchildren, Jordan and Clay. Ann will surely be missed by all those who knew and loved her.

Ann is preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her husband, Clayton Dye, daughter, Wendy Dye (Mike) Ross, grandchildren; Jordan and Clay Ross, brothers; Dean, Mike and Jerry (Judy) Chitwood, sisters; Esta Chitwood Cash, Mary Lou Chitwood (Gene) Greenway, Betty Jo Chitwood Tatum, and Debbie Chitwood (Doug) Smith, and sisters-in-law, Wanda Dye and Pat Dye Taff. Many nieces and nephews also survive to cherish Annie’s memory.

A Graveside Service will be conducted at Sunset Memory Gardens Mausoleum on Sunday, August 16, 2020 at eleven o’clock in the morning with Rev. Richard Poe officiating.
