

Annie Mae (Ann) Callahan Miller, Age 73, of Cartersville, GA, passed away Sunday, September 24, 2017. She was born in Bartow County May 01, 1944. The daughter of the late Rev. Grady Callahan and the late Susie Burgess Callahan.
Ann was retired from Hamilton Crossing Elementary School as a secretary. She is a member of Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church and a former member of Oak Hill Baptist Church for 50 years.
Ann is preceded in death by her parents, five sisters: Clora Plumley, Julie Bell Jones, Ruthell Hamby, Estell Bruce and Dorothy Payne, two brothers: Rev. Richard Callahan and Clifford Callahan.
Survivors include her husband of 56 years, James Oscar Miller of Cartersville, GA, One son, Doug (Debra) Miller, two daughters; Vickie (Rick) Silver and Cathy (Gary) Head, all of Cartersville, GA., six grandchildren; Brandie Brittian, Chris (Margie) Miller, Adam (Adrian) Miller, Allen (Courtney) Collins, Karis Head and Brady Head, six great grandchildren; Lynsey Sutton, Kane Brittian, Kinsley Grace Miller, Carson James Miller, Caleb Collins and Kowen Miller, brother-in-law, Hugh Payne, sister, Pauline Gravely, all of Cartersville, brother and sister-in-law, Claude and Shirley Callahan of Ball Ground, GA, sister - in –law, Lillian Callahan of Portage, Indiana and sister-in-law, Syble Moss.. A host of nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral Services for Mrs. Miller will be conducted at two o’clock in the afternoon in the Owen Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Ronnie Cowart officiating. Serving as pallbearers will be: Allen Collins, Chris Miller, Brady Head, Adam Miller, Larry Woods, Gary Hitchcock and Scott Huskins. Burial will follow the service at Oak Hill Baptist Cemetery, Rydal, GA.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, September 26, 2017, from four o’clock in the afternoon until nine at Owen Funeral Home.
