

Mrs. Pell was born December 3, 1927 the daughter of the late, Floyd Haywood and Grace (Jackson) Wilson, was retired after 30 years with the Federal Government and was a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church. She was a member of the Cartersville Garden Club, the N.A.R.F. and was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary at Cartersville Medical Center where she served as Past President.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Claude Lafayette Pell and a daughter, Beverly Ann Dukes.
Surviving are three daughters, Jean Pell-Andrews of Taylorsville, Cheryl and Renon Pruiett of Kingston, Ellen and Wayne Eubanks of Rydal, six grandchildren, Alex Tamadon, Ryan Jones, Claudia Ovalle, Travis Pruiett, Jennifer Crump and Temperance Flores, eight great-grandchildren, Logan Tamadon, Francesca Ovalle, Tyler and Ashland Pruiett, Eli Crump, Sam, Ava Grace and Lila Faith Crump.
A graveside memorial service will be held Thursday, July 5, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. at the Georgia National Cemetery in Canton with Pastor Bert Love officiating. Entombment in the columbarium will follow.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday morning from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon.
The family will accept flowers or donation may be made to Mrs. Pell’s favorite charity, The Bartow County Humane Society.
