Betty Zane Woodward

Mrs. Woodward was born June 6, 1932 in Bartow County, Georgia, daughter of the late Will Mundy and Lillie Yancey Mundy. She was a Homemaker and a member of Pine Grove Baptist Church. Mrs. Woodward was a supportive pastor’s wife through past years and was a wonderful mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

Survivors include her husband, Rev. Hubert A. Woodward; daughters, Denise Mulkey (Jerry), Diane Geisen (Jeff), Amy Stephens (Darin); grandchildren, Megan Geisen, Becca Tabb (Brad), Ian Geisen (Angie), Christopher Reid, Julian Woodward (Angie), Taylor Knott (Nakia), Christian Stephens, Chalie Stephens, Blake Mulkey; great-grandchildren, Trevor Geison, Corbin Geisen, AcAcia Geisen, Sutton Tabb, Madi Woodward, Aspen Geisen, Devyn Knott, Macey Tabb; sister, Ann Summey (Edward “Red”); brother, Terry Mundy (Jeanette); a host of nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday morning June 7th at 11:00 a.m. at Pine Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Clinton Green and Rev. Dewey Atchley officiating. Interment will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Friday evening from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Owen Funeral Home.

Pallbearers include Ian Geisen, Christopher Reid, Julian Woodward, Taylor Knott, Trevor Geisen, Christian Stephens and Corbin Geisen.
