He was a very very dear friend of  me and my husband Jackey. Helped him with his TV ministry many years ago.  And  with our New Hope BC TV ministry  with Pastor Reed.  He was so helpful on what to do with  videos.  I shall  never ever forget him! Much love to all his family. 

How I enjoyed serving with Bob in the TV Ministry of Tabernacle Baptist.  Not only was he knowledgeable about all of the equipment, but made you proud of your service and made it fun while you were serving.

I am so sorry to hear of Bob passing,he was such a sweet and gentle man. any time I thought of him it always brought a smile to my face.  Perry loved Bob so much I know they are rejoicing together.

Dearest Carole, Kelley, Chuck, Casey, Alecia, Ryan and Caleb,  there are no words.  You all are in our thoughts and prayers.  Bob was such a wonderful and funny man.  We loved sitting with Carole and him in our Life Group on Sundays. He would give me a hard time usually about something silly.  He always took care of Carole and made sure she was comfortable and warm. Then he would leave before the group was over so he could go do his job in the video room.  Bob and Carole have been our mentors, friends, and confidants since we began attending Tabernacle.  He will be truly missed and Life Group will never be the same.  He is now in the arms of Jesus whom he loved and always shared.  Doug and I cherish their friendship.  

Bob and Carole were two of the first people at Tabernacle to make us feel welcome there. Bob and my husband Lyndon share a love for flying, and Lyndon always looked forward to Bob asking him where he'd been flying and where was he going next. One of my last memories of Bob was at choir practice at Tabernacle. I was sitting in the choir room singing and looked up to see Bob entering the room slowly so as not to be seen. He was checking on his precious wife, Carole, because she hadn't been feeling well.  I nodded to him that she was okay and he smiled and went back out onto the hall to wait for her.  That was precious, but not uncommon for Bob. It was easy to see how much he loved Carole, Kelly, his two grandchildren and now great grandson.  Oh how this man will be missed, but oh how comforting it is to know that we'll meet again one day.

"Mr. Bobby" was a very special person in my life.  He was the father of my life-long friend, Kelley.  When the Bryson car was headed somewhere, Kelley & I were in the back seat and having a ball the whole time.  We went to the beach, the mountains, the country, amusement parks, lots of camping and almost anywhere else you can think about including to church at Tabernacle.  My parents, Harry & Gail Childers had the same relationship and travels with Kelley always along.  To think of Mr. Bobby as anyone other than a healthy, active and fun-loving man  who could give great advice when asked is foreign to me.  To know that I will see him again in Heaven is comforting.  To know that Kelley has shared Mr. Bobby & Miss Carole with me for a whole lifetime is humbling.  Thanks to all the Bryson family for including me, looking out for me, caring for me , and loving me along the way... and I am here if you need me...always.


Bobby Bryson is one of the people who undoubtedly had a real impact on my life thru his service as vice-president at Regions Bank. After many years of futility in trying to borrow money to build houses I had long given up when Bobby approached me about coming in to see him and I was soon building 30 to 40 houses per year. Bobby retired not long after he gave me that start, but he was the one who was willing to step up when no one else would. Thru Regions Bank and thru his service at Tabernacle Baptist Church he influenced countless lives.

RAIDEN and I send our prayers and love to you both and all your family. Bobby was a wonderful person and a pillar in this community. He will be greatly missed. May God comfort and bring His peace to you all during this difficult time.  We love y’all. 

To my sisser Kelley,  Mrs. B.,  and family, my heart breaks for your loss.  Mr. B. was such a wonderful and fun loving man with such a kind heart.  I was so blessed to be able to "grow up" with your family as my own.  Without a shadow of doubt I know he is in Heaven and reunited with Cleo.  Thank you Jesus, we will one day see him again. Keeping all of you in my prayers and if you need anything, I'm just a phone call away!
