Carl Jennings

Mr. Jennings was born February 4, 1944 in Cartersville, Georgia, son of the late Howard Franklin Jennings and Lillie Mae Hart Jennings. He was retired from Vulcan materials in Kennesaw, Georgia. He enjoyed hunting, driving his tractor, riding his motorcycle and spending time with his family. He was preceded in death by his parents, Howard Franklin & Lillie Mae Jennings; grandson, Stephen Suggs; brothers, Harvey Jennings, Howard Walter Jennings; a sister, Pauline Burkes.

Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Mary Blalock Jennings; children, Judy & Michael Suggs, Neva & Bobby Cline, Larry & Connie Jennings, Philip & Samantha Jennings; son-in-law, James Mullinax; grandchildren, Bruce & Jennifer Jennings, Adam & Sarah Jennings, Katie & Drake Worley, Dustin & Hilary Mullinax, Jessica & Juanita Mullinax, Taylor Colston, paige Jennings; brother, Garland Jennings; great-grandchildren, Rylan Jennings, Bridgett Jennings, Olivia Jennings, Kennedy Mullinax; a special friend, Debbie Ann Anderson; several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be conducted Sunday afternoon May 29th at 4:00 p.m. in the Owen Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Hoyt Jones officiating. Interment will follow in the Wofford’s Crossroad Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Saturday evening from 6:00 until 9:00 p.m. at Owen Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will include Lee Blalock, Chuck Mercado, Wendall Parker, Michael Parker, Chris Mader, Michael Mader, Kyle Sutton, Ryan Howell, Eric Bowen.
