Mr. Mitchell was born May 13, 1946 in Villa Rica the son of the late, James Oddis and Elsie Nell (Hamrick) Mitchell, was retired from AT&T and of the Baptist faith.
Surviving is his wife, Sally Mitchell of Acworth, a son and daughter in law, Jim and Kim Mitchell of Powder Springs, two great grandchildren, Maddux Mitchell and Rylee Mitchell, a sister and brother in law, Teresa ad Wes Murphy and a brother, Tim Mitchell all of Douglasville and nieces and nephews also survive.
A memorial service will be announced at a later day and time.
