Christy Dawn Lingerfelt

Christy is preceded in death by her grandmother, Nellie Moore, grandfather, Elmer Hufstetler, grandmother, Estelle Beck and grandmother, Ruth Hufstetler.

She is survived by her husband of 8 years, Jason Lingerfelt; sons, Logan Sutton (Sarah) and Easton Lingerflet; mother, Jo Ellen Ruhling (Rusty); father, Ray Moore (Sue); sister, Deidra Pope; brother, Jimmy Moore; grandfather, Dan Beck; step-children, Colby Lingerfelt, Mckenzie Ganser (Anthony) and Zachery Lingerfelt (Cary); step-grandchildren, Autumn, Mary Ann, Maverick, Harlyn, Aiden, Makayla and Dawson; nephews, Dalton Pope (Laila). Donavan Pope (Taylor); great-niece and great-nephews, Vanessa, Leeland and Silas; uncles, Neal Hufstetler (Vicki), Keith Hufstetler (Myra), Becky Smith and many other aunts, uncles and cousins.

Christy was a 1996 graduate of North Cobb High School. She worked as a workman’s comp coordinator at Resurgens Orthopedics in Kennesaw where she was well loved and respected. Christy was very generous, had a kind heart and loved her family especially her sons and her pups. She loved spending time at Myrtle Beach, Panama City and traveling. She enjoyed rock-n-roll and attending concerts. Logan recalls that his mom never missed a sports game he was playing in and birthday parties. As a movie enthusiasts, Christy took pride in taking kids to their first movies. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her dearly.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 7, 2024 from 5-8pm at Owen Funeral Home. Celebration of Life Services will be held at 11am on Friday, March 8, 2024 from the chapel of Owen Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Sunset Memory Gardens.
