
Mrs. Culp was born October 17, 1921 in Paducah, KY, a daughter of the late William Scillion and Linnie Reed Scillion.
Claudine was the owner of Cedar Hill Mobile Home Park located on Brown Farm Rd., Cartersville, GA for 37 years. She loved to spend time outside tending to her gardens. She never missed a week of riding her tractor to mow the lawn throughout the entire park. Her favorite hobby was quilting blankets. She handcrafted a blanket for each one of her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by 35 years, her husband, Cecil Culp of 41 years of marriage; a son, Bobbie Glen Culp; and a grandson, Zachary Lee Arnold.
Mrs. Culp’s survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Cecil Earl and Linda Culp of Kingston, GA; daughter, Linnie Mae Turley of Hiram, GA; grandchildren, William Culp, Mary Ann Arnold, Teresa and Nathan Ellis, Beth and Rickey Davenport, Eric and Michelle Culp, Scott and Annette Culp, Luke and Cindy Turley, Annette and Brent New, and Tammie and Josh Erikson; and 18 great grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held 2:00 P.M. Thursday, December 13, 2012 from the Chapel of Owen Funeral Home, Cartersville, GA with the Rev. Mike Zwemke officiating. Interment will follow at Liberty Hill Cemetery, Acworth, GA.
Serving as Pallbearers will be William Culp, Scott Culp, Eric Culp, Luke Turley, Rickey Davenport, Nathan Ellis, Brent New and Josh Erikson.
The family will receive friends at Owen Funeral Home, Cartersville, GA from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Wednesday, December 12, 2012.
