Clinton Eugene Brown Jr.

Clinton Eugene Brown Jr., age 71, of Adairsville, GA passed away on Sunday, August 4, 2024. He was born in Covington, GA on August 28, 1952, to Clinton Eugene Brown Sr. and Charlotte Eloise McGibony Brown.

Clinton proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War, where he achieved the rank of Sgt. in the 101st airborne division as a Green Beret. By the end of his service, he was the recipient of the National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal W/Two Campaign Stars, Combat Infantryman Badge, Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal w/60 Device, One Overseas Service Bar, Sharpshooter Badge M-14, Sharpshooter Badge M-16, and a Good Conduct Medal.

In his free time over the years, Clint loved hunting, fishing, and a cold beer on Friday nights. He was also an avid Atlanta Braves fan.

His career after the military was in the police force. He served his community as a police deputy for several years. Clint then became a small engine mechanic and finished his career in the workforce as a forklift operator for Mohawk Carpet.

Clint is preceded in death by his parents, Clinton and Charlotte Brown. He is survived by his children, Kasey (Shawn) Hull, Josh (Kari) Brown, Clinton (Barbara) Brown; grandchildren, Brooke, Kassidy, Kailey, Patience, Harmony, Ashlyn; great grandchildren, Ava, Matthius, and Elaina.

A Celebration of Life Service will be conducted at 2:00 pm on Friday, August 9, 2024, in the chapel of Owen Funeral Home. Family will receive friends on Friday, August 9, 2024 from 12:00 pm until 2:00 pm.
