Dan Elbert Copeland

Mr. Copeland was born May 6, 1944 in Bartow County, a son of the late James E. Copeland and Bernice Pressley Copland.

He was of the Baptist faith and a retired tire salesman. He loved and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.

Survivors include his daughter, Rita Kreczmer, sons, Shane Copeland and Shannon Copeland, sisters, Faye Jones, of Cartersville and Judy Doris, of Adairsville, his brother, George Copeland, of Cartersville, grandchildren, Cory and Cody Copeland, Cayla Raines, Gunner Kreczmer, Emily and Loren Copeland, and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held 12:00 Noon Thursday, March 21, 2014 from the chapel of the Owen Funeral Home with Rev. Gary Hibberts officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Cory Copeland, Greg Hight, Rocky Dutton, Gunner Krezcmer, Timmy Bryson and B.J. Raines.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 till 8:00 P.M. Wednesday.
