Mrs. Delores Lucile Clark Jones

Mrs. Jones was born May 12, 1934, in Walker County, Ala., the daughter of the late Frank and Julie Mae Townley Clark and was of the Baptist faith.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, John Robert Jones; a son, Jimmy Everette Jones; and brothers, Frank and Billy Joe Clark.

Surviving are sons, Eddie Jones of Forrest Park, Bobby David Jones of Charleston, S.C., daughters, Julie Brooks of Iva, S.C., Dorothy Williams of Loganville; sister, Dorothy Ashworth of Cartersville; 14 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, March 22, 2010, at 1 p.m. in the chapel of Owen Funeral Home with Rev. Colon Ashworth and Rev. Max Mayburn officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memory Gardens.

The family received friends at the funeral home Saturday evening from 5 to 8 p.m.

Nephews will serve as pallbearers.
