Dianne House Popham

Mrs. Popham was born March 2, 1946 in Cartersville, Georgia, daughter of the late Charles Davis and Sarah Richards Davis. She was a retired School Bus driver with Cartersville School System for 32 years and was a member of Miller’s Chapel Full Gospel Church. She was very instrumental in getting the Special Needs Program started in the Cartersville School System. She loved to sing in the Choir at Church and never met a stranger. She is preceded in death by her first husband, Kenneth House; her parents, sister, Charlene Ferguson; brothers, Max Davis and Carter Davis.

Survivors include her husband of 33 years, Earl Popham; her children, Ken House, Charla & Richie Banks, Randall Popham and Rhonda Robinson; grandchildren, Lacey Brown, Levi Robinson, Davis Banks, Harrison Banks and Riley Banks; sister & brother-in-law, Bennie & Jack House; brother & sister-in-law, Lawson & Cheryl Davis; host of great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews; a special friend of 64years, Johnnie Gail Ballard.

Funeral services will be conducted Monday afternoon, April 2nd at 2:00 P.M. in the Owen Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Max Maybern and Rev. Josh James officiating. Interment will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Sunday evening from 5:00 until 8:00 P.M. at Owen Funeral Home.

Pallbearers include Daryl Ferguson, Steve Banks, Jeffrey Harris, Warren Gilmer, Gene Davis and Jerry House.
