Donnie was born on October 27, 1956 in Miami, FL, son of Sanders J. Atkins and Gladys Ruth Underwood Atkins.
Donnie proudly served his counrty in the United States Airforce. He retired as a driver from UPS after more than forty years of dedicated employment. In his spare time, he enjoyed riding motorcyles, fixing cars and spending time with his friends.
He is survived by his parents; sister, Joan (Gail Poole) Gentry; niece, Morgan Gentry; great-aunt, Hilda Moore; great-uncle, Norman Underwood.
Private family services will be held.
A Celebration of Life Service will be announced at a later date.
