I just learned about Pat's death two days ago. I met Pat in 2017 in Tirana, Albania where we co-taught an ESL class in cooperation with a Christian ministry in that city. In those 10 days I came to know Pat as a wonderful man with a great big heart.  It was evident how deeply he loved his family. He was a teacher, helper, and encourager and I enjoyed working with him. Though I had been in Albania several times, Pat taught me so much about the history, culture, and politics of that region. I know that he is missed by his family and friends. My prayers are with you as you continue to adjust to his absence. 

Lt Pat Harrison was my CID supervisor at the Citrus Co Sheriffs Office in the 1990s. He was always fair, smart and professional. Pat was remembered, and spoke of often, long after he left CCSO. I only wish I could of worked with him longer. Good man, good detective, good friend.
PS. He put hot sauce on virtually everything!

I was saddened to learn of Pats passing. I first met Pat when he was a rookie police officer and I was his first training officer. He was full of a desire to learn everything about his new career, and he excelled during his time with the department. We later crossed paths when I retired to Citrus County and learned he was living in this area.  My condolences to Debby and their family. RIP old friend.

Dear  Debra, Donna and Chris,

On behalf of the Bechtel family and so many of your Miami FL friends, you have our warmest thoughts and prayers knowing that "for me to live is Christ, but to die is gain (Phi 1:21)." As we told you by phone, I was reading this very passage when we received your call.  It is truly precious when a saint in Christ Jesus goes home.

Our love and prayers will be with you in your time of loss but the warm memories of Pat will always overcome the sorrows.

I remember when I came home one evening to discover our home and been broken into and robbed. I first called the police and next called Pat.  He was there first within minutes bringing a spirit of calm and reassurance.  Just his presence made me feel better.  He stayed long after the police came and left.  It is a treasured memory of a good friend in the time of need.

Calm and Quiet of you brought peace to your whole family. You’ll be missed by all of us. Please be always there and watch and guard your big family.  God bless you.

Pat was a very conscientious employee and a great friend.  I could depend on him for any task assigned to him to be handled in a veryprofessional way.  He was well liked by all.  I was proud to call him my friend and he will really be missed by all who knew him.  Prayers are being sent out to his family and friends.  God bless you all.  R.I.P. dear friend. Dear Debra and Harrison Family 

I was heartbroken to learn from Rhino that Pat had passed away.  Pat was a man of great character and commitment that was focused on keeping us safe in Afghanistan and other parts of the world.  I always felt better when Pat was around as I knew that he was on top of things. He was a great teammate and an important part of our Fluor family.  I cannot imagine the pain and grief that you may be feeling.  However, please know that my prayers of comfort and peace are with you in these challenging times. May God keep all of you close.  Tom

A joy to know and a special man. He had a real talent for working with wood and I have a bowl as proof.   Rest in peace Pat until we meet again.
