

Edward Glenn Beuoy, 60, of Cartersville, Georgia, passed away at his home on July 21, 2025. Born on October 3, 1964, in Huntsville, Alabama. Ed lived most of his life in Cartersville, where he built a life rooted in hard work and family.
Ed was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He was a hard working provider and protector for his family and country. A proud veteran, Ed served honorably in the United States Navy. Petty Officer Second Class, Aviation Mechanic (Hydraulics) from 1988 to 1992. Following his military service, he worked as a master industrial mechanic, earning the respect of colleagues and friends for his skill, dedication, and integrity.
Ed lived by values of strength, perseverance, and compassion. He loved working on his cars, listening to music, and being at the lake with his friends. He was a steadfast family man who took great pride in the people he loved most. He loved football—especially cheering on his beloved Alabama Crimson Tide—and could often be found watching the game with his family by his side. Ed loved nothing but joy and adventure in his life. Ed loved being a Dad, he could be found at a little league baseball park or a dance recital. Ed found a new passion as his family grew, being a grandfather. He loved nothing more than spending time with the little ones and the family dogs. Ed will be remembered with love and pride.
Ed is survived by his loving wife, Linda; his son, Nicholas; and his daughter, Michelle Davis and her husband, Jacob, grandchildren, Evelyn Marie Davis, Cooper Ray Davis, and Lucas Edward Beuoy. Ed will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, July 25, 2025 at 4pm, preceding a viewing at 2pm at Owen Funeral home in Cartersville, Georgia.
