Elaine Whitener Boston

Mrs. Boston was born July 16 1956 in Bartow County, the daughter of the late David and Maggie (Ray) Whitener.

She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, Luthe, L.G. and Ronnie Whitener and four sisters, Bertie Mae Mashburn, Frances Brookshire, Patsy Nichols and Evanell Whitener.

Surviving is her daughter and son in law, Jamie and Timmy Parker of Calhoun, a grandson Tyler Parker sisters and brothers in law, Betty Jean and Jerry Huskins of White, Toni and Doug Vernon of Cartersville, Bobbie Fox of Tennessee, Bernice and Herman Lee of Cartersville, a sister in law, Violet Whitener of Rydal and a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 8, 2012 at 4:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Owen Funeral Home with Rev. Doug Vernon and Rev. Keith Willard officiating.

Burial will follow in Oak Hill Baptist Church Cemetery in Rydal.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday evening from 6:00-8:00 p.m.

Pallbearers will be Tim Henson, Brandon and Brett Owens Steven Parker Rob Turner and Daniel Vernon.
