Elizabeth Ann Hinson

Ms. Elizabeth Ann Hinson, 71, of Cartersville, GA passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, November 19, 2019. Elizabeth was born on February 6, 1948 in Taylorsville, GA to the late Mr. William Franklin Welchel and Mrs. Mattie Lou Fortenberry Welchel.

Elizabeth was an amazing woman, devoted mother, grandmother, and loving sister who loved her family. She enjoyed working in her yard, and taking care of her home, doing crafts and spoiling her grandchildren. Elizabeth also liked going to yard sales with her sisters. She was a force to be reckoned with and will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Elizabeth is preceded in death by her parents, grandchildren; Christina Mae Warner and Christopher Lee Hinson, and sister, Annie Gail Harris.

She is survived by her children; Elissa Jane Holley and Johnny Lee Reagan, grandchildren; Tiffany Ann Morgan, Heather Nicole Agan, Tyler Shayne Day, Toni Beth Harris, Kayla Marie Harris, Alycia Ann, and Trevor Reagan, sisters; Betty Marie Gentry, Mary Frances Worthington, brothers; William Lee Welchel, and Felton Lamar Welchel. Many great grandchildren, nieces and nephews also survive to cherish Elizabeth's memory.

A Celebration of Life Service will be conducted Sunday, December 1, 2019 in the chapel of Owen Funeral Home at two o'clock in the afternoon.
