Fay H. Brumbelow

Mrs. Brumbelow was born December 27, 1938 the daughter of the late, Ed and Mildred (Ponder) Howell and was a member of Friendship Baptist Church. She was past president of The Magnolia Garden Club, American Legion Auxiliary Club, Beta Sigma Phi and was a member of the Red Hat Women’s Club. She had been employed at State Farm Insurance and Triangle Termite Company in Cartersville, and manager of Greystone Apartments for Charles Williams Realty in Rome, Georgia.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her twin brother, Ray Howell and her sister, Betty Ferguson.

Surviving is her husband, Melvin Brumbelow, whom she married May 7, 1960, and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held Wednesday, January 25, 2012 at 3:30 p.m. at Oak Hill Cemetery with Rev. Larry Russell officiating.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday evening from 6:30-8:30 p.m.

Pallbearers will be Ron Jones, Danny Brumbelow, William Brumbelow, Collin Vaughn, Brett Brumbelow, Michael Tidwell and Ronnie Vaughn.

Owen Funeral Home, 12 Collins Drive, Cartersville, Georgia is in charge of the arrangements.
