Mrs. Morrow was born May 6, 2915 in Cherokee County the daughter of the late Charles D. and Idella (Bramlett) Welchel and was a homemaker, a member of Faith United Methodist Church and was a Girl Scout Leader in the 60’s in Pepperell, Alabama.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Amos James Morrow, Jr.
Surviving is her son, Jay Morrow of Cartersville, two grandchildren, Virginia (Brent) Dunn of Charlotte, N.C., Forrest Morrow of New Kent, Virginia, nieces, Marsha Lipscomb, Dana Wilde, Patti and Melony Cahill and a sister, Ruth Cahill of California.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, January 25, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Owen Funeral Home with Rev. Charlie Marus officiating.
Burial will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday from 1:00-2:00 p.m. prior to the service.
Owen Funeral Home, 12 Collins Drive, Cartersville, Georgia is in charge of the arrangements.
