A true Bartow County native, Patsy was a proud graduate of Cartersville High School, where her love for the Canes began early and endured throughout her life—her blood forever ran purple. After high school, she worked for several years as an executive assistant at Lockheed Martin Aeronautics before discovering her calling in healthcare.
Patsy dedicated 47 years of service as a Surgical Technician at Cartersville Hospital and Piedmont Hospital. She deeply loved her work family and the physicians she worked beside day after day throughout her nearly half-century career. Her professionalism, skill, and steady presence earned her the respect of colleagues and community alike.
Beyond her career, Patsy devoted herself to her faith and family. She taught Sunday school for many years and was a constant supporter of her sons—never missing a sporting event or anything related to the Canes. Her true passion was her family, and she took great joy in caring for them, always ensuring their needs were met and often exceeded.
Patsy was a devoted Christian, a faithful prayer warrior, and a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. In her quieter moments, she enjoyed crocheting and creating with her hands, a reflection of the care she poured into every part of her life.
