Mr. Perry was born July 20, 1941, in Bartow County, the son of the late, Pink Jefferson and Virginia (Martin) Perry and was a member of New Covenant Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Diane Donaldson and Becky Thurman.
Surviving is his wife, Jo Anne (Knight) Perry, children, Charles Perry, Rena Ray (Tommy), Mickey Perry (Alina), Dewayne Perry (Tammy) all of Cartersville, seven grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, a brother, Eddie Perry and three sisters, Linda Maton, Tammy Ray and Patty Perry and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 31, 2014, at 11:00 a.m. at New Covenant Church with Rev. James Black and Rev. Michael Abernathy officiating.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday evening from 6:00-8:00 p.m.
Burial will follow in Sunset Memory Gardens.
