George Washington Cagle, age 90 of Taylorsville, GA passed away on Thursday, September 2, 2021. He was born in Stilesboro, GA on August 19, 1931 to the late George Washington Cagle and Sallie Jordan Cagle.
George is preceded in death by his brothers, Homer Cagle, Hugh Cagle; sisters, Beulah Murphy, Oneida Kennedy and Doris Gentry.. He is survived by his wife of 64 years Ruby Cagle; sisters-in-law, Christine Teems, Ruth Keys; brother-in-law, Glenn Worley; nephews, Jarrell (Brenda) Cagle, Bobby (Lynne) Gentry and several other nieces and nephews.
George was a lifelong resident and farmer in Bartow County.
A Graveside Service will be conducted at 11:00 am on Sunday, September 5, 2021 at Emerson Cemetery with Rev. Kenny Jacobs officiating. Ronald Cagle, Brady Gentry, Drew Oxford, Steve Southern and Darrell Kay will be serving as pallbearers.
