George Tibbs Cason Jr.

George was a kind, loving, and generous person who cared about others. George graduated from Parkway High School in Bossier City, LA in 1982. He continued his education at Louisiana Tech University where he earned his MBA Degree in 1988. Mr. Cason was a manager for Waffle House for more than 18 years. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed kayaking, camping, fishing, and collecting football and baseball cards.

Mr. Cason is preceded in death by his father, George Tibbs Cason; step-father, Robert B Atkinson.

Survivors include his loving wife, Roxane Stearns Cason; mother, Donna Atkinson; step-mother, Anita Cason; sister, Julie Cason Adrian (John); brother, Robert L. Atkinson (Kendra); sister, Gina Cason; brother, Benjamin E. Atkinson (Laura); twelve nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life service will be conducted at two o'clock in the afternoon on Friday the 11th of August, 2023 in the chapel of Owen Funeral Home with Rev. Josh James officiating.
