

Mrs. Bell was born on November 21, 1928 in Canton, GA, daughter of the late John Cleveland Waters and Maybelle Pace Waters.
Mrs. Bell was a warm and caring woman who never spoke a negative word about anything or anyone. Mrs. Bell retired from Nantucket Industries after ten years of faithful employment. In her spare time, she enjoyed reading the newspaper from cover to cover and working the word puzzles. She loved spending quality time with her family and friends and talking on the telephone with her sisters. Her favorite snacks were her crunchy Cheetos and Dollar General fudge-stripped cookies. She was a proud and active member of Peeples Valley Community Church.
She is preceded in death by her loving husband of fifty-five years, Richard Bobby Bell, Jr.; son, Jimmy Randall Bell; sister, Verabelle Waters Purcell; niece, Deborah Carol Payne Hendrix.
Survivors include her daughter, Susan Bell; grandchildren, Shannon Pollock, Jaime Candelas, Tara Bell, Justin Bell, Jodee Hassad and Toni Bell; eleven great-grandchildren; brothers, J.C. (Carolyn) Waters, L.D. (Ruth) Waters and Delano Waters; sisters, Irene Satterfield, Edith Bearden and Pearl (Woody) Noles; a host of nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life Service will be conducted at two o'clock in the afternoon on Friday, the 20th of October, 2017 in the chapel of Owen Funeral Home with Rev. Larry Hufstetler officiating. Interment will immediately follow in Sunset Memory Gardens.
Serving as pallbearers are Rex Bearden, Ronnie Bearden, Rick Payne, Jerry Satterfield, Clark Milsap and Greg Reed.
Honorary Pallbearers are her brothers, J.C. Waters, L.D. Waters, Delano Waters, and her grandchildren, Nicholas Guerra, Christian Candelas, Skyler Candelas, River Candelas, Justin Bell, Logan Bell, Austin Payne, Bricen Payne, Kaleb Payne and Gunner Renfro.
Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family from four o'clock in the evening until eight on Thursday, the 19th of October, 2017 at Owen Funeral Home and also for two hours prior to service time.
