

Born to the late N.E. Mulkey and Katie Trollinger Mulkey, Gladys was a lifelong resident of Cartersville. She was a devoted member of The Church at Liberty Square, where her faith and fellowship were an integral part of her life.
Gladys found great joy in spending time with her family and friends. She loved being outdoors and occasionally gardening, finding peace and beauty in nature. She also had a passion for collecting antiques, especially dolls, silverware, and pottery—each piece reflecting her appreciation for history and craftsmanship.
She is survived by her loving son, Ron Teems, and two cherished grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; loving husband, Calvin Hudson Teems; her sisters, Mildred Palmer, Maggie Barnette, and Jean Price; and her brother, Willis Mulkey.
A visitation will be conducted on Friday, April 11, 2025, from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at Owen Funeral Home, 12 Collins Drive, Cartersville, GA 30120. Immediately following the visitation, a remembrance service will be held at 7:00 PM at Owen Funeral Home. A graveside burial service will take place on Saturday, April 12, 2025, at 12:00 PM at Oak Hill Cemetery in Cartersville.
Gladys will be remembered for her kind heart, unwavering faith, and the warmth she shared with all who knew her.
