Glen Anthony Perone

Glen Anthony Perone, age 56, of Erwin Street, Cartersville, Georgia, passed away Tuesday, November 16, 2010 at his residence. Mr. Perone was born December 22, 1953, in Akron, Ohio. He was of the Christian faith, was a Truck Driver/Mechanic and was a veteran of the Vietnam War having served in the U.S. Army. He was preceded in death by his parents and by a sister, Jane Gaunce. Survivors include his wife; Frances Holloway Perone; his children; Joseph Perone, David Perone, Jessica Perone, Anna Perone, Anthony Paul Perone, Glen Anthony Perone, Jr and Mark Eastep; grandchildren; Kevin Perone, Anthony Perone and Kayla Perone; sisters ; Sandy Ward and Doris Thomas; Little brother; Dan; nieces; Tammy Perry and Barbara Bernhardt; a dear friend; Ruth Koester also survives. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday afternoon November 20th at 1:00 P.M. in the Owen Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Keith Willard officiating. Mr. Perone will be buried in the Georgia National Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday afternoon from 5:00 until 7:00 P.M. at Owen Funeral Home.
