Glenda Marie Humphrey

Glenda is preceded in death by her husband, John Humphrey; parents, Ernest and Ruby Tucker; brothers, Harold Tucker and Vernon Tucker. She is survived by her children, Maxie (Kenny) Landers, Joseph (Thelma) Marshall; grandchildren, Alex Huxtable, Margaret Huxtable, Avery Marshall, Aidan Marshall; great-grandson, Grayson Cunningham; sister, Kaye Abernathy; several nieces and nephews.

Glenda was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She worked in assembly line production for over 20 years with Scientific Atlanta and then dedicated her time working part-time for the Gwinnett County school system. She was a true and faithful servant of the Lord and a longtime member of Tucker Christian Church in Tucker, GA. For most, Glenda “Tootie” will be remembered for her true passion, her family. She truly was the glue that kept everyone together, loved with her whole heart, and managed to keep us on our toes all at the same time.

Celebration of Life Service will be conducted at 2:00 pm on Friday, February 6, 2026 in the Chapel of Owen Funeral Home with Woody Bowen officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:00 pm until 2:00 pm.
