Hallie Nena Collins Cagle

Hallie Collins Cagle, 91, of Cartersville, Ga. went to meet her Jesus on Easter Sunday, march 27, 2016 after attending Sunrise service at Raccoon Creek Baptist Church where she was a member. She passed away at Erlanger Hospital in Chattanooga, Tn. that afternoon.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Herman Cagle; one son, Trumon Wendell Cagle; her parents, Author and Evah Patterson Collins of Smyrna; four brothers, Loren, Ernest, Clarence and Hugh Collins; eight sisters, Florence Bradley, Cleo Rhodes, Mona Nestlehutt, Mickey Brown, Wilma Gantt, Imagene Davidson, Eloise Collins, Kay Alexander. Hallie was retired from E-Z Mills as a floor lady. She was a member of Raccoon Creek Baptist Church. She enjoyed doing cards for her church to the sick, shuut ins and just to encourage them. She loved canning , working in her garden and flowers. She enjoyed watching birds and hummingbirds, and spending time with her family and friends.

Survivors include three daughters, Brenda Cagle (Phillip) Morris, Delores Cagle (Billy) Cox, Deborah Cagle (Paul III) Padgett; nine grandchildren, Tim (Kelly) Cox, James (Crystal) Morris, Angie Cox (Scott) McDaniel, Melissa Cox (Jason) Cornett, David Morris, Paul Padgett IV, Trumon (Ann) Padgett, Cynthia Morris (William) Hilburn, Cathy Morris (Michael) Fleetwood; twenty three great grandchildren, Katie and Brittney Cox, Gavin Brown and J.P.Morris III, Tyler, Joshua, Madison and Madelyn McDaniel, Nena, Garett and Andrew Cornett, Paul V and Gracy Padgett, Emily Weston Jr., Olivia and Ella Grace Padgett, Will III, Graham Hilburn,Trofton, Hallie, Christin and Jackson Fleetwood.

Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, March 30th at 2:00 P.M. in the Owen Funeral Home Chapel with Pastors James Black, Mike Boatfield and David Blackney officiating. Interment will follow in the Emerson Cemetery across from old Emerson Elementary School.

The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 5:00 until 8:00 P.M. at Owen Funeral Home.

Pallbearers include grandsons, Tim Cox, James Morris Jr., David Morris, Paul Padgett IV, Trumon Padgett, William Hilburn, Michael Fleetwood, great grandson, Tyler McDaniel. Honorary pallbearers will include great grand children.
