Harry Douglas Bramlett

Mr. Harry D. Bramlett, 74 of Fairmount, GA passed away Tuesday, December 5, 2017 surrounded by his loving family. Mr. Bramlett was born January 24, 1943 to the late Mr. John Robert Bramlett and Mrs. Dural Ballard Bramlett in Cartersville, GA.

Mr. Bramlett was a hard worker who loved hunting quail and being outdoors. Mr. Bramlett was a poultry and cattle farmer who also spent over thirty years working for Union Carbide. Mr. Bramlett was a member of Red Carpet Cattlemen's Association and a member of Concord Baptist Church for 45 years. He was a loving father and husband.

Mr. Bramlett is preceded in death by his parents, Mr. John Robert Bramlett and Mrs. Dural Ballard Bramlett, grandson, Joshua Douglas Bramlett, grand daughter, Angel Higdon, brothers; Billy Joe Bramlett of Ellijay, GA, J.R. Bramlett of Cartersville, GA, Ray Bramlett of Ducktown, TN, Glenn Max Bramlett of Pine Log, GA, sister, Martha Nell Bramlett.

Mr. Bramlett is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Mrs. Mary Ann Arnold Bramlett, son, Doug (Angie) Bramlett, daughters; Darlene (Gwyn) Fitch, Rebecca (Johnny) Jones, April ( Eric)Hooker, grandchildren; Kyle (Chasity) Higdon, Brittany Bramlett, Lindsi Bramlett, Whitney Bramlett, Johnny Lee Jones, Jana Jones, Andrew Hooker and Caleb Hooker, great grandchildren; Kade and Emmalynn Higdon, sisters; Margaret Gossett, Peggy Mitchell, Nancy Webb.

Funeral services for Mr. Bramlett will be conducted at two o'clock in the afternoon at Concord Baptist Church in Fairmount, GA, Friday, December 8, 2017 with the Revs. Sammy Allen and Randy Southerland officiating. Mr. Bramlett will lie in state from one o'clcok in the afternoon until the service hour. Interment will follow the service in Concord Baptist Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be: Kyle Higdon, Johnny Lee Jones, Andrew Hooker, Robert Arnold, Mark Owens and Lewis Miller. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be: Jerry Bennett, Bud Fields, Ken Southerland, Tommy Miller, Jimmy Boyd and Jack Hardin.

The family will receive friends from five o'clock in the afternoon until eight Thursday, December 7, 2017 at Owen Funeral Home.
