Harry Neil Green

Harry is preceded in death by his brother, Bill and Rovania Green; brother-in-law Bobby Tedder. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Faye Tedder Green; several nieces, nephews and other close friends and family.

Harry graduated from Cartersville High School where he played football. He served his country in the United States Air Force. He retired from Bartow County Water Department and was a retired Deacon from Atco Baptist Church and was a member there for many years.

He loved everyone and never met a stranger. His fondest discussions were of him growing up in Atco Village and caring for others.

A Celebration of Life Service will be conducted at 2:00 pm on Thursday, July 14, 2022 at Sunset Memory Gardens Mausoleum Chapel with Rev. John Lemmings officiating. The family will receive friends on Thursday, July 14, 2022 from 3:00 pm until 5:00 pm at Atco Baptist Church Fellowship Hall. Randy Cochran, J.L. Duncan, Pat Bell, Clarence Brock, Lewis Miller, Wayne Martin and Donny Spruill will serve as pallbearers and Kenneth Brown, Jerry Bearded and the Willing Workers Sunday School Class as honorary pallbearers.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Harry’s memory to Atco Baptist Church.
