Ivanette Watters

Mrs. Margie "Ivanette" Gentry Watters, 83, of Kingston, GA went to be with her Savior on Thursday, August 13, 2020. Margie was born on April 15, 1937 in Taylorsville, GA to the late Mr. Clarence Gentry and Mrs. Ella Mae Hames Gentry.

Ivanette was a loving wife and devoted mother. She was a devout Christian and member of Watters Road Church of God of the New Testament. Ivanette loved antique furniture, yard sales and hats. She loved cooking for her family for holiday get togethers and her fur babies, Banjo and Lucy. But most of all, Ivanette loved her family. She adored being Granny to her eleven grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. She will be truly missed by all those who knew and loved her.

Ivanette is preceded in death by her parents, children; Garry and Barry Watters, siblings; Helen Lambert, Raiford Gentry, Elston Gentry and Carolyn Gentry.

She is survived by her loving husband of 65 years, Doyle Watters, Sandra "Sam" Watters, Jerry and Terry Watters, Tammy (Jed) Lusian, and Phoebe (Jeff) Stieber, siblings; Bobbie Dover, Lonnie Gentry, and Ruby Owens. Eleven grandchildren, and numerous great and great-great grandchildren also survive to cherish Granny's memory.

A graveside service for Ivanette will be conducted on Sunday, August 16, 2020 at two o'clock in the afternoon at Bethel Crossroads Baptist Church Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be her grandsons.
