He loved life, his family, fishing and baseball.
"After high school he enlisted in the U.S. Army, a decision that like life on the farm shaped his character and life's philosophy. He valued his service highly. After his honorable discharge, he carried the values of discipline and teamwork into civilian life. Began his career at General Electric retiring in 1991. An avid outdoorsman, he preferred his time to be spent walking the fields for quail or time on the River fishing with those he held dear. No one enjoyed to laugh more than Jack, anyone that heard it would never forget it. As well as his love to receive and send cards to evoke a belly laugh was well known among family and friends alike. The absence of those jokes and hearty laughs will be noticed and felt for generations. But the lessons of loyalty and love will continue to shine through those whose lives were touched by Jack.
