James Samuel Wills

Mr. Wills was born on February 18, 1944 in Mt. Sterling. KY, son of the late James Shirley Wills and Carleen Gardner Baber.

Mr. Wills is preceded in death by his sister, Doris Ware.

Mr. Wills retired from Bundy Tubing after almost 40 years of faithful service where he served as a Production Supervisor. He lived a simple life and enjoyed coaching his son’s baseball games and attending his daughter’s sporting events when they were growing up. In the past, he loved playing golf, tinkering around his house and working on his cars. Mr. Wills was a regular of Tom’s Place and could often be found there hanging out with his friends.

Survivors include his son, Jeff Wills (Louise); daughter, Amy Abbott (James); grandchildren, Taylor VanMeter, Webb VanMeter, Samantha Wills and Max Wills, sister, Judy Allen; a number of nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at eleven o’clock in the morning on Wednesday, December 30th, 2015 in the Chapel of Owen Funeral Home with Rev. Kenny Jacobs officiating.

Visitation will be held for one hour prior to service time at Owen Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or the Lung Association.
