Jesus Alberto Serrano Contreras

Mr. Contreras was born June 22, 1991 in Venezuela, the son of Alberto Vera and Miriam Contreras and attended St. Francis Catholic Church where he was a member of the choir.

He attended Cartersville High School, where he played football and basketball, loved music and enjoyed playing the guitar, piano, saxaphone and organ. He was looking forward to attending Kennesaw State University as a music major.

Their son was love, tenderness and intelligence. He had a great passion for music and on his own he learned to master his musical instrument. That is why the melody that he carried in his heart will last forever in our home and in our hearts.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Yolanda De Jesus Vera De Serrano and Herberto Julio Serrano Lugo.

Surviving are his parents, his sister, Carolina Contreras, grandparents, Lucia Contreras , Gonzalo Faneite and aunts, uncles and cousins.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, August 28, 2010 at St. Francis Catholic Church with Father Dan Stack officiating.

Inurment will follow in Sunset Memory Gardens.
